Danielle Jones
Founding Partner
Danielle Jones is an experienced family law attorney and litigator whose practice focuses on complex child custody matters and high-conflict family law disputes. Danielle has built a reputation as a strong and effective courtroom advocate who is not afraid to take on difficult cases or fight for the right result.
Danielle began her legal career in criminal defense, an experience that shaped both her approach to advocacy and her commitment to advocacy. It taught her to examine every case from all angles. She scrutinizes the evidence, highlights facts that others may overlook, and challenges assumptions rather than simply accepting the narrative presented. She brings this discipline to her family law practice where she develops strategic, fact-driven arguments designed to ensure the Court has the full picture before making decisions that can affect her clients and their families.
Areas of Focus
Danielle is known for her strategic approach to litigation, careful analysis of the evidence, and effective advocacy in the courtroom. Her practice focuses on:
- Complex Child Custody Matters: Representing parents in high-conflict custody disputes involving domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health concerns, relocation, school choice, and other issues affecting a child’s safety, stability, and well-being.
- Divorce Litigation: Preparing and litigating any contested family law matter, such as spousal support or asset division, from pretrial proceedings through trial, with a focus on identifying the facts and evidence that matter most and developing clear, persuasive arguments for the Court. Danielle believes in resolving disputes when possible but is prepared to litigate when court intervention is necessary to protect her client’s interests.
- Domestic Violence & Restraining Orders: Representing clients in matters involving domestic violence, emotional abuse, and coercive control, particularly where those issues intersect with child custody and parenting.
- Minor’s Counsel: Serving as court-appointed counsel for children in family law proceedings. This work gives Danielle a valuable perspective on the complex family dynamics, competing concerns, and long-term consequences that often underlie custody disputes.
Approach and Philosophy
Danielle believes that effective representation starts with honesty. She provides her clients with a candid assessment of the strengths and challenges of their case, so they can make informed decisions throughout the legal process. She takes the time to understand not only what her clients want to achieve, but why it matters to them, allowing her to develop a strategy that reflects both their priorities and the realities of their case.
